The big producers are Westrock, Packaging Corporation of America, Georgia Pacific, and International Paper and none of them are really set up to service growing, indie product businesses.

I like the dynamics here a lot. It's a great gig for remote sales and design people that happens essentially all up front and the product continues to sell automatically and grow exponentially over a long period of time with little labor involvement. Margins are wonderful and the package prices are often a very small piece of the total cost to ship a complete product.

Integration with Shopify and Amazon APIs are cake these days. Keys here are awesome design, quality sales people, and pro logistics / ERP.

Beyond Shopify and Amazon integration, there are several potential partners here that could send this one into the stratosphere. A killer one is Stamps.com - they handle postage purchasing for 26 million packages a month.
